Looking from our veranda eastwards towards the sea. The noonday sun is overhead, as you can tell from the shadow of the tree. The birdbath on the right was visited mainly by blackbirds: hummingbirds often hovered around the hibiscus blossoms. The sea is blue, blue, blue -- quite different from the grey seas of northern Europe. This picture was taken in 1993.
