Looking from the veranda we see one of our Montserratian friends climbing the nut-tree. This is Parp (Charles Murraine) of Tuitt's. (The Americans and Canadians call him "Pop" or "Pops", which comes to the same thing.) As well as cutting coconuts, he used to mow our lawn.
