First up is this, 'To Draw A Long Line' by C.E. 'Johnny' Johnson. This book has proved so popular that it has warranted a re-print, this time in paperback. It describes in detail Johnny Johnsons' life at Connaught when he was their Chief Draughtsman during the 1950's. He designed the famous 'B' series Connaught 2.5 litre GP car which won the Syracuse Grand Prix in 1955, Britains' first Grand Prix win since Henry Seagraves' victory in the 1924 San Sebastian Grand Prix. Following on from the success of his earlier book on Thruxton, Paul Lawrence has written this interesting and well-documented book on the Castle Combe circuit.

'Sun On The Grid' by Ken Stewart and Norman Reich.

The only complete history of South African motor racing. Originally published in 1967, this limited hardback edition was re-printed in 1998.

Priced at £69.99, very few remain now.

'The Half Ton Formula' by Bernard Cowdrey.

This is Bernard's second book on the series and the only book written solely on the 1.5 litre Grand Prix era of 1961 to 1965. A complete A-Z of the cars, the book includes details and photographs of many rare Soth African specials. There is also a section on the Inter-Continental formula of 1961.
