The ZIPPO U.S.
VINTAGE GRAND PRIX, WATKINS GLEN, NEW YORK, USA,
6th - 8th September
2002.
Forsaking our usual trip to
Summit Point in May of 2002, it was decided that a trip to the Glen was called
for at the start of September. As usual, I was joined by George Cormeny, Harvard
Wood and Mike Johnson, my States-side team. They did me proud again.
Great people, great weather and some great race cars to see.
I had never been to the
Glen before and was not disappointed, by the quality of the field of cars or by
the track itself.
