	Glen Helen Cottage ONE

Glen Helen cottage one was totally renovated in the late 1990’s to a modern standard but keeping its original character. This is seen in the beams and the renovated kitchen range.
The cottage is set in gardens with an interesting range of plantings, garden furniture and a summerhouse retreat.
Downstairs, there is a spacious dining-kitchen room and a separate lounge – with harmonium!
Upstairs, there is a double bedded room, a twin bedded room and a new bathroom with bathtub and a separate shower enclosure.

Beds are made up with duvets and towels are provided.
Private parking is on a tarmac area in front of the cottage.
There is full central heating and double glazing throughout.
The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer, plus a full range of utensils.
There is a modern clothes washer and dryer in the old wash house.
In the lounge there is a flat-screen TV with built in freeview tuner and DVD player.
The TV sits on a Singer sewing machine [not working] which is across the room from the harmonium [which does work!]
There are radios and old fashioned board games.
Well behaved pets are welcome in this cottage.
