Vice Presidents

The Club’s Annual Presentation Evening will be held a little earlier than normal but we have been able to book a Saturday Night at the Trent Lock Golf Centre on Sept 13^th 2008. In view of the anticipated longer Presentation Ceremony, the time of the event will be 6.45pm for 7.15pm. A three course meal + coffee will be served. If anyone requires a Vegetarian alternative, would they advise me ASAP. The price of the ticket £15 reflects the cost of the food only and so to try and cover other expenses a raffle will be organised.

The normal generous donations of raffle prizes will be appreciated greatly. Tickets will be available from myself with the correct monies (in advance please).

Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday October 30^th 2008. An Agenda will be issued nearer the date.

Indoor Net Practice. The club is pleased that we have again secured the facilities of Trent College as previous. (Sunday Nights and Academy on Wednesdays)

Outdoor net facility. We have again been rejected by the National Lottery for the major funding of this project; however it is the club’s intention to go ahead on a restricted plan to vastly improve the facility at the rear of the Bill Camm Pavilion with the funding we have secured to date.

Social Events Diary.

Sat Sept 6 – Casino Night at the Bill Camm Pavilion. Contact M Hopkins for further details.

Friday Sept 26^th. 3^rd & 4^th Xl End of season players night at the Bill Camm Pavilion 7pm onwards. Fish & Chip supper. More details from Mick Hopkins and myself.

Further events will be held in the close season and these will be advised in the next Newsletter.

I look forward hopefully to seeing you all on the 13^th Sept, with the 3^rd’s and 4^th’s already securing promotion and the 1^st and 2nds very close it should be a very enjoyable night.
