General Information
Two properties are available for short or long-term self-catering lets. Both date back to 1861 and stand in the beautiful grounds of Moorfield House below Kinder Scout and Bleaklow. The properties are two miles from the centre of Glossop. Quite apart from the many nearby walks and lovely scenery of the Dark Peak itself, Jodrell Bank, the caverns of Castleton, Buxton and many other places of interest are all a short car journey away. Chatsworth, Chester, Alton Towers and York are all possible day trips. Moorfield provides a fine centre for a self-catering holiday based in the Peak District National Park.
