The year 2002 will mark the 50th anniversary of Her Majesty The Queen's Accession to the Throne. This will be an occasion both to look back at the role that The Queen has played in the affairs of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth over the last 50 years and to look forwards. |
There will be a special Thanksgiving Service
6 p.m. Sunday 2 June
at St. Mary's Church, Cerne Abbas
The Address will be given by
Captain Michael Fulford Dobson CVO, RN
HM Lord Lieutenant of Dorset
There will be a reception and toast in the Abbey
grounds at 7 pm to which all residents of the
Cerne Valley Parishes are invited.
