| Spalding's Form Picks
Up, The Points Don't! The last three games have seen a real pick up in form by Spalding United. Against Fleet, we were unlucky not to have taken three points. On Tuesday evening, we held Kings Lynn of the premier division to a 0-0 draw, only to lose 4-3 on penalties. It seems, that this holds the key to Spalding's lack of success in recent weeks. We can't even finish penalties! On Saturday we lost 2-3 to Chelmsford City, scoring twice in two minutes to bring the score back level again at 2-2. The Chelmsford City website, reported, that Chelmsford were lucky to have got a point out of that game, and indeed Spalding had the better of the play for most of the match. Let's take encouragement from the improvement in form, and let's get behind the lads tonight at Raunds and against Accrington Stanley on Saturday in the FA Trophy! Graeme Smith <>< |
