Jenny and me...

I first encountered Jenny as a small, gyrating figure on stage at London’s Hammersmith Odeon, early in 1986. Having conquered the USA, INXS had set their sights on Europe. Over the subsequent months, I saw them 4 or 5 times in small venues as the band gigged frantically through the UK, and...okay I admit it...I fell desperately in love with Jenny Morris.

Two years later, with INXS firmly established as a major force in world music, an Australian friend bought me a copy of Body and Soul. I soon realised that here was an artist with talent and integrity as well as beauty. Each new album has been a joy, and I remain as dedicated a fan as I was 10 years ago.
