Dear Renata
Thank you for your e-mail. We had a really fabulous holiday in London. I was so sad to leave.....
despite the cold!
Of course that was outside not inside, as number 91 Burr Close was as warm as toast.
You have asked to comment on the state of the apartment on arrival. The flat was well dusted and all the cupboards, linens, crockery etc and the sinks loo and bath were all very clean.
I hope to come again next year.
Best Wishes
Pam
P.S. I wish I lived there permanently !

Hello Renata,
I've just returned to the states and finally have time to check my email account.
My friend and I were very happy with the apartment. I have to say, staying in London in such a nice homey apartment with beautiful views was the best part of my trip. It was wonderful to arrive and have someone waiting for us at the airport and drive us directly to the apartment. The driver Richard was very nice and gave us a lot of useful information on our way from the airport. When we arrived we were greeted by David who was very welcoming and a gave us a tour of the apartment.
In all we found the apartment to be perfect and I would recommend it to any friends or colleagues of mine as an affordable and comfortable alternative to a hotel. Thank you for making our stay very comfortable!

Dear Renata,
As usual, we enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much. I especially liked the new set of pots.
The view from the window and the location, being so near the Waitrose, made the apartment very likeable. We were very pleased and hope to come back some time soon.
Best wishes and happy new year!

We have now stayed at various of your apartments within St Katharine's Dock and have always found them to be well-equipped, clean and warm, David the caretaker is very helpful, you are always our first port of call when considering a week break in London, with presently considering rebooking for December 2009.

Dear Renata,
We very much enjoyed 58 Nightingale. It was so well equipped, had a lovely view and was warm and cozy. The apartment was quiet and convenient.
We did feel like we had a little home away from home for 2 weeks. There were at least 4 buses from the area and we took advantage of all of them. We will be back again, I know. Your office was very professional, and I appreciated that very much.
Thank you so much. Until next time,
Peggy and Todd

Renata,
My husband and I found the service- from the moment we arrived at the airport- to be first rate.
Recent experiences in London made us a little fearful of arranging transportation, as most taxis don't bother to show up or give good service. Ray was a wonderful exception! He showed up on time and was fast and efficient.
David, who checked us in, was friendly and helpful in many ways during our stay. The apartment was clean and in good condition when we arrived, and everything worked. (unusual in London rentals!) Overall, the experience was miles above anything we've had in recent years in London, and you can be proud of the work you and your staff have done.
A most Merry Christmas to all of you,
Gail
P.S. Not to be forgotten--I was also impressed with your response to email communications, and the system you've set up for payment. The information you sent via email was everything we needed.

Renata,
Just got back from a week-long stay at 97 Burr Close, a two bedroom apartment. We were two adults and two children, ages 9 and 11. The location and convenience of this apartment would definitely have us stay there again!
As others have noted, these apartments are at St. Katharine's Docks, which were formerly working industrial docks, but have been converted to docks for pleasure boats, yachts, etc. The docks are surrounded by shops and a few restaurants. The whole area is quite lovely and peaceful, very quiet. No street noise at all. You can get from the apartment to the Tower Hill Tube station without ever getting out onto the street level by following the water around to a foot tunnel.
The 97 Burr Close apt. does not look out over the docks, but faces the opposite way with a pleasant view over the trees in the courtyard. You do get great views if you decide to take the stairs instead of the elevator. The apartment is on the 6th floor.
The beds and bedding were quite new and everyone agreed they were extremely comfortable! There are two bedrooms with two twin beds in each. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked and the dishes, pots, pans, etc. were all new. The leather couch and leather seats in the living room were brand new. The washer/dryer unit worked fine. There is a full bath upstairs and a half-bath downstairs.
There is a pay phone that accepts coins (10p, 20p 50p and some other denomination), calling cards and credit cards. The broadband wifi worked without a hitch. (You'll find the instructions in a box under the phone table). We were glad to have our computer with us. There is a nice library of books on London as well as general fiction for entertainment. One tv in the living room, another in a bedroom.
The kitchen opens to a small balcony overlooking the grassy, tree-filled courtyard and has a small table and chairs. The fridge, microwave, stove/oven all worked fine. We also found a drying rack for clothes in a closet which came in quite handy.
We prepared quick meals most of the time after stopping at the grocery store that is just across the street from the apartment complex. Couldn't be any easier. The garbage chute is down the walkway outside the apartment towards the elevator.
If you explore a little on foot you'll find wonderful views of the Tower Bridge just a few steps away. You might not be in the middle of all the action, but we found the location extremely convenient. We had originally wanted just a one-bedroom apartment, but they only had the two. It turned out great to have the extra space. The kids loved it... We certainly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again if we return to London. I hope you found the other set of keys.

Hi Renata,
Here is why I love staying at the Hamlet.
The location is wonderful! It is great sitting in the lounge/living room and looking out the window at Tower Bridge. In 5 minutes you can be walking on the bridge or walking past the Tower of London. St. Katherine's Dock is an oasis in a big city. There are many shops and restaurants within walking
distance. Or just hop on the tube and get to the rest of London.
The flat itself is great. For someone on a budget, it is great to have Waitrose across the street. With the kitchen you can eat as many meals as you want at the flat. It is easy to pack light with the washing machine in the flat. The flat is spacious, clean and has everything for a comfortable stay.
I always feel as though I am "living" in London and I love it. I would not get the same experience staying at a hotel. My brother has been with me for the past 3 years and he feels the same way. The booking procedure is simple and effective. A few years ago I came by myself and realized I would need a telephone. I asked Mark and he brought me one immediately and I was able to call home and let my daughter know I had arrived safely. Needless to say I always prebook one now.
This past year my brother and I asked David if we might have a couple of extra towels and he gladly brought us some. I really would like to have 2 large towels per person each year. It is nice to know that if we needed help with anything, David is just a phone call away.
In 2009 a friend is coming with me and I have requested a car to pick us up from Heathrow.
It will be easier for 2 older ladies. I have used that service once before and it was very convenient.
These are some of the reasons I love coming back year after year. I will continue to do so in the foreseeable future.
Sincerely,
Judy

Renata,
Thank you for the rental. It worked out perfectly with the extra space, full kitchen and free wifi. We chatted with a fellow American tourist on the bus and he was paying 20 GBP a day for wifi access.
The area was great. The pub and restaurant Prohibition were visited often. Starbucks too since the ones in France don't serve my drink. The tunnel to the tube station provided much needed cover. And the proximity to line 15 bus was fantastic. A good cheap option to see the sights and enjoy the Christmas lights. We will be recommending this as a great option to over-priced and cramped hotels.
Thanks again.

Hello Renata,
Thanks for the email. We had a fantastic week in London, thank you.
We could not find fault with 97 Burr Close. It all worked perfectly for us. The location is just the best - so close to tube and buses, restaurants and bars, and the supermarket too. The accommodation was great, and even the bed settee was really very comfortable.
The balcony was handy for the one smoker in our family of 5. The kitchen had all sorts of pots and pans which was much appreciated. We did quite a bit of self catering. The apartment always seemed nice and warm (it was October) even though we didn't notice the heating coming on at all. I really liked the fact that there was a land line on which I could both make and receive calls. A super collection of books to browse, with lots of excellent London guides.
Although we were due to arrive at about 4pm, thanks to Gibraltar Airport being closed and our plane being several hours late, we arrived at almost 10pm. David, who was meeting us with the key, made arrangements for our untimely arrival, in the best of spirits, without a word of complaint. Later on, he was right on the end of the phone when I called him with a silly question.
We think Hamlet UK's apartment represents excellent value for money.
Many thanks,
Denise

Hello, Renata;
Just a quick note of appreciation for our accomodation at 18 Burr Close in August this past summer. We very much appreciated the apartment, and the helpfulness of David (and the man who was filling in for him the weekend we arrived, whose name I've forgotten.) It's a great location for a visit, and we enjoyed ourselves very much.Generally the apartment was well furnished and appointed. We had nearly everything we needed, (Except garbage bags. There weren't properly sized replacements.)
The bedrooms were especially charming. It was a treat one evening, while my wife and I were out walking, waiting to see a play , when we chanced upon Someset House, walked out on the river side, and realized the print over the couch in our living room was taken from a painting on that site. The print shows a governess with a baby carriage watching marching troups on Victoria Embankment. When we realized the connection, we were standing at the railing close to where the painter would have set his easel. Nice!Should be be fortunate enough to be able to plan another holiday in London, we will be in touch for a place to stay. It really was very good value.
Thank you, for everything.

Hi Renata,
Thank you for your e-mail.We very much enjoyed our stay in London at your apartment. We considered the apartment to be well appointed with all the basics, and valued its convenient proximity to the excellent Waitrose supermarket nearby. After such a long flight, we were very grateful for the airport transfer and the help of the gentleman who let us into the apartment so early on Sunday morning.
In all, we were very satisfied with the facilities and support, and have already recommended your apartment to friends.
Thanks very much,
Matthew

Dear Renata,
We enjoyed being back in London and were lucky to have sunny weather. The flat has an enviable location between St Katherine's marina and Waitrose. We had a nightmare taxi ride from Bedford Place - mostly stuck in traffic-and would strongly encourage visitors to stick to public transport. The water pressure is, as they say in the States, awesome, and perhaps a word of warning in the kitchen is necessary.David was a welcoming presence on arrival but the flat was not yet ready, so perhaps it is unwise to expect him to do it all in such a short time? We arrived in the morning, I think round 11. Even if guests leave on time, that is a lot of cleaning in a short time. All in all, we enjoyed the experience and loved being able to have friends over and cook for ourselves.
Sincerely,
Elinor

Hi Renata
Thank you for your email. I certainly would like to provide some feedback for your accommodation and am more than happy for you to include it on your website;
“In early September this year (2008) my wife and I along with another couple used Hamlet (UK) Ltd for our accommodation in London. We again used Burr Close apartments in St Katharine’s Mews as we had in 2005. If in real estate terms the way in which a property is viewed is location, location, location then Hamlet surpasses this description. You are located in an area with numerous eating establishments, a Waitrose, the Tower, the Tube, the River and London in general.
The accommodation itself is very comfortable and all facilities are available. TVs, washing facilities, cooking facilities and you can make the unit/apartment a real ‘home away from home’.
I am very happy to provide an absolutely positive assessment of the property we stayed in (97 Burr Close) and am very happy for people to seek further information from me.”
Hopefully we may seek your help again in about 2/3 years time.
Regards
Pat

Dear Renata,
I had been meaning to write to you anyway and now your e-mail has galvanized me into action.
We very much enjoyed our 15 days in london at your apartment. It is very conveniently located; just 3 blocks or so from the underground and numerous bus routes. Also the view from the balcony is amazing, with the little peak of the Tower and the marina and the ducks and swans.
The apartment itself was very nice. Everything worked!!! It was very well equipped and while the furniture was a little old, everything was clean and in good repair.
Altogether, I will not hesitate to recommend this apartment and your overall service to my friends; it made our trip to London just that much better, knowing we had a nice place to come home to every night after an exhausting day of sightseeing.
Thank you.

Hi Renata,
It was nice to receive your follow up email. Thank you for helping us with our booking at the St. Katharine's Marina. My husband and I had a wonderful "London Experience" and plan to come back to the UK in the future. We found the apt comfortable and a "home away from home".
It was a very convenient location i.e. near transit, attractions, supermarket. Your contact was very helpful when we arrived. The apt was clean, well laid out, well equipped, quiet and had a nice view.
We were very comfortable and would recommend this as a "great route" to take for travelling/accommodations.Thanks again and wish you continued success.
Best regards,
Liz

Hello,
Sorry to take so long to respond to your email. Our stay at the flat in St. Katherine's Marina was very enjoyable. The location is quiet and relaxing, yet accessible to the tube and many of the sites we wanted to see in London.
The only problem we encountered was that the apartment was not ready when we arrived. We arrived quite exhausted from our trip only to find that we could not immediately enjoy relaxing in the apartment, but had to find something else to do while it was being cleaned.
Our overall experience was very good and we would recommend your rental service to friends.
Thank you,
Craig and Connie

Dear Renata,
I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner, but I was away in July and we have been very busy in the bank (as you can immagine) recently. The flat was spacious, very homely, clean, the kitchen utensils and kitchen area had every thing I needed.
The area overlooking the docks was like an oasis of peace and quiet. Close to public transport and the supermarket was very close and meant that we did not lose time.
David was very kind and always available to help us when we needed. Should we decide to re-visit the area, we will certainly contact you to stay in the St Katherine's docks area again.
My very best regards,
Brunella

Renata,
Thanks for your email below - its nice to be asked for feedback. We really enjoyed our stay at 18 Burr Close - the area around the Marina is really nice and just what we where looking for.
Your booking process and communication regarding the booking etc was first class, your man on site
(sorry forgotten his name !!) came down to meet us within a couple of mins of arriving and couldn't have been more helpful - even to the extent of helping with the luggage.
Garage facility was spot on - nice to be able to leave the car for a week and know it's safe.
The flat had everything we needed, bedrooms were comfy with plenty of storage space, shower was good, kitchen had everything you need. Flat was also clean and tidy when we arrived. Only minor point I can think of is that perhaps the outside of the flat and maybe the living room could do with a bit of a decorate/spruce up to brighten it up - not always easy to do when your letting the place out !
In conclusion - We enjoyed our stay, would certainly recommend you to other people and would have no hesitation in staying with you again ourselves.
Regards,
Nick

Dear Renata,
Our trip to London went very well. The apartment was very nice and made it f eel like we had a home away from home. David was extremely helpful and friendly. He was available via phone when we had questions and assisted with arranging our return trip to the airport. The service that picked us up at
the airport could not have been better. They pointed out things we needed to see and told us history of the places we passed on the drive to and from the airport. The only complaint we had was the trip was not long enough.
Thank you so much for all your help and the wonderful place we stayed. We look forward to being able to go back again.

Renata,
I have been meaning to write and let you know that we had a lovely two weeks at 91 Burr Close. Having previously stayed at 97 Burr Close, we already knew what to expect, but this time we were very pleasantly surprised by the lovely view of Tower Bridge and the docks from our balcony. On our arrival, David came straight away to let us in and show us around, and just like last time this flat was very comfortable and extremely well equipped. The location could not be better, with Waitrose a few minutes away and easy access to numerous buses and trains. On future trips to London I would not even consider staying anywhere else.
Thanks for a wonderful holiday.

Thank you for helping make our visit to London wonderful and memorable. The apartment was great - just what we needed to come back to at the end of a busy day sightseeing. The prices in London were a shock so it was helpful to be able to prepare some meals in the apartment.
David met us promptly once we called upon arrival and showed us around the apartment. The apartment was well stocked with all of the essentials and extras that made it seem homey such as books and a small supply of coffee, tea, sugar, etc.
The location was wonderful - so close to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. Both St. Katharine's Marina and the South Bank had plenty of shops and restaurants, and so scenic.
The only thing that might have been helpful to have is a map of the apartment complex. Even at the end of the week, we would get lost if we came in a different way!
We are definitely planning to come back to London and we will definitely be contacting you about accommodations.
Thanks again

Dear Renata
Thank you so much for your prompt and efficient service. My daughter and I had a wonderful time. The Marina is a beautiful place to stay, an oasis of calm in the centre of the capital. The gentleman who met us and showed us round the flat was very helpful and pleasant. This is the second time I have booked with you and would recommend you without hesitation to any of my friends.
Thanks once again.

Hello Renata!
Lovely to receive your email and I am more than happy to share with you our satisfaction with the accommodations at 18 Burr Close, St. Katharine's Marina, London.
From making the initial inquiries, through reservations and paperwork to the pre-arrival communication and our arrival on-site the entire experience was once again easy and pleasant. This was our second stay in St. Katharine's and we found the area changed in a positive way with more dining options and more to make a visitor's life easy with closer banking, grocery with more ready-to-eat options, and as always - terrific access to tube and bus.
The flat was clean and tidy and contained all we needed during our stay. We did have a leaky tea kettle; however, no sooner had we noticed the problem than it was replaced. In short, there was a reason why we stayed in St. Katharine's once again - it's clean, comfortable, quiet, close to transportation - there you are in the center of London and yet you feel as if you are in a small waterfront community - amazing! And we LOVE the views of the Thames, Tower and Tower Bridge at night!
Thank you again for all your assistance in making a truly relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Hi Renata!
We are back home again safe and sound. I’d like to thank you for all your help in helping us organize our trip and for helping us with the airport transfer. We enjoyed England tremendously! The apartment was wonderful and so nice to come back to after the end of a busy day. The atmosphere the marina provided was certainly relaxing. It was so quiet and peaceful, as compared to the hustle and bustle of other areas of the city. David was very pleasant and helpful, too. I would not hesitate in recommending your accommodations to others who may be travelling to London. Again, many thanks.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the flat (91 Burr Close)!
The location is perfect for a family trying to see London on a budget. It was great to head there at the end of the day, knowing that we were in a quiet area, that really felt exclusive. I've recommended your flats to anyone that will listen.
David was wonderful showing us around the place, and giving us direction to the grocer etc.
We would have felt no concerns calling him should we have needed to.
Thanks again,

Hi Renata
We have nothing but praise, as always, for the way you looked after our booking of the apartment.
David, like Mark, was excellent in the way he greeted us when we arrived (by car) and then took Mary and the luggage to the apartment while I returned the car to the Avis depot at the hotel near the Tower Bridge. We found the apartment very clean and thank our lucky stars that Judy C. introduced us to your apartments. We thank you for your help and support, regards,
Mary and Tom

Dear Renata,
My wife Ida and I have always looked forward to staying in one of your apartments when we visit London. We first booked with you in 1995 and have continued to find the experience very good.
The advantages for us especially are the closeness of a grocery store, the great views of the marina, the view of the Tower Bridge, and the ease of finding restaurants and the Underground. Getting a taxi is not ever a problem. The location is never difficult to explain to the cabbies either.
We would like to make one suggestion that would be a great help when your guests need to buy groceries. It would be wonderful if you could provide a portable (and foldable) grocery cart in the apartment. It's always hard for us to carry all the groceries we buy.
We would also like to commend David for his readiness to help and to always be available on short notice for whatever we need. The same goes for Ray Skinner whose engaging personality makes the tedious trips to either Heathrow or Gatwick much more tolerable. The time goes by very quickly it seems.
We have recommended your places to several of our friends over the years. I don't know if any of our promotions have paid off for you but we are always ready to brag about our "little home away from home".
Thanks for asking our opinions. Until the next time, we remain very sincerely yours,
Neal & Ida

Hi Renata,
Glad you asked--we really enjoyed our 8 days at 97 Burr Close. W e found the St. Katharine's Marina area, to have great eating places, it was close to a supermarket, and was a reasonable walk to the "Tube"; so all in all we felt the area was excellent. The apartment was perfect for us, it had a reliable wireless high speed Internet connection, everything you needed in the kitchen, nice to have the room that a 2 bedroom provides, nice living room, and we really appreciated David's help with our questions. We would recommend the apartment to families thinking about visiting London.
Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Dear Renata,
Well, what can I say? As you know when it comes to Number 58 I am a trembling mass of bias and it is the one I specifically recommend to my friends when they are contemplating a stay in London.
(The Smiths should be there now!) And, I am going to buy it from you when I win lotto!!
Firstly, the best thing is the location. It is an amazing location. While being quiet, there is always something of interest to watch (we love the workings of the lock), close to an excellent Waitrose and transport system (via the Thames and the Tower, no less!!!). I actually met a Qantas pilot and his wife one day in Harrods. They were staying in Knightsbridge and their apartment was very luxurious, but there was no balcony etc and when they stepped out the door they were in the busy High Street.
They were hankering for a little space to call their own, such as a balcony with fresh air! They hated it as it was either one thing or the other, inside or outside. (Australians love the outdoors, as you would know with our Jamie Durie's winning the 'garden room' section (again) at The Chelsea Flower Show this year!!!) We had lots of visitors, some of whom have been working in London since the beginning of the year, and only one (David's nephew) knew the area existed so St. Katharine's Dock area is a well kept secret.
I have always found the operations from your office to be very efficient. From the first time when I found your address in the 'In Britain' magazine to now in the days of e mail. You (and your stafff) are to be congratulated/ commended on this efficiency. Being so far away across the sea (in the colony!) I can only say that I have always appreciated this so much. As well I have always found your instructions/details re payment, deposits, final payments, access etc very clear. All of your caretakers from the days of Carol have been prompt, courteous and all have always made it known they were only a phone call away if we needed them. (On one day on this last visit we had no hot water, and upon ringing David, he put our worry to rest telling us the whole estate was 'out' and the engineers were working on the problem. We were ever so pleased that we had not done anything wrong!!)
The Dickens Inn must be under new management, for they had cleaned up their 'act' and their bars and restaurants are now so much better. Can recommend 'Cafe Rouge' though in the Marina. We had some excellent meals there. That little group of restaurants 'rocks' each week night with the suits!!
When we recommend the apartments to friends we speak very positively about your organization, the location, the price etc... (all of the above) and those are the considerations we feel are our needs for a great holiday.
Cheers for now. Take care.
Sincerely,
Judith

Dear Renata:
We wanted to write and let you know how much we enjoyed staying in your apartment at 91 Burr Close. We absolutely loved the location, and the apartment itself. We spent much of our holiday exploring the East End, and getting to know another part of London.
The apartment was perfect, by far the nicest place we have stayed in yet, and we hope we'll be able to enjoy it again on another trip. Hope you have a good summer. It has been a pleasure dealing with you.
Sincerely,
Sharon and Mike

Dear Renata,
I just wanted to tell you my son and I enjoyed very much the apartment (warm, quiet and so well situated ), and had a good time in London, where people are so friendly with tourists who ask their way ! David welcomed us very kindly. Our departure at 6 a.m was quite perturbed :Tower Hill station closed , fog on the road to the airport, and a coach driver who seemed in a bad state... but finally we got to Stansted on time, and now we laugh about that.
I hope everything was all right for you concerning our stay , and I think I'll contact you again when I have an opportunity to go back to London.
Kindest regards,
Caroline

Dear Renata,
I just received a packet of information I requested from the
British Heritage Magazine about the Hamlet UK apartments. I
first stayed in your apartment in 1996, and have since recommended
it to many of my friends. My family and I also stayed for a
week during Easter week 2005 and it is so nice to have a comfortable
place to stay. I love the security of the complex, and the wonderful
areas to explore.
My granddaughter was so thrilled that we had a "nice home"
to live in while we did our sightseeing.
I have just sent two different couples to rent apartments from
you. One couple is renting your place in March this year, and
another couple is coming over in May. I am so happy to have
this recent information about Hamlet so I can pass it along
to people that ask me about London.
To me, St. Katharine's Marina is the best place
to be. I've spent time in many London hotels over the last 25
years, and nothing compares to your wonderful accommodations.
I'm hoping to get back to the UK in the next year or so. I'll
certainly call you when I know the exact dates, and in the meantime,
I'll send my friends over.
Janet from MN, USA January 2006
Dear
Renata,
We are now back home in Australia having spent two wonderful
weeks at St Katherine's Dock. Thank you for arranging my surprise!
How thoughtful of you! Walking in and finding a bottle of Champagne
and card was just wonderful. Thank you again! David and I sat
on the balcony, enjoyed the view and drank with lots of enjoyment.
What a find you have in Mark! He was so welcoming and courteous
and after settling us in, assured us he was only a phone call
away. This was very self assuring. I did leave him a little
thank you note, but if you have the opportunity, will you please
thank him again? The apartment was spotlessly clean, very attractively
furnished I especially appreciated the linen on the beds and
the china in the kitchen. My David is not usually a good traveler
and he had not stayed here before. He loved it! Mind you, the
boats were a great attraction! He told me we'll be back! (The
reject china shop man will be very pleased).
Thank you again. take care of those beautiful children of yours!
enjoy! They grow up so quickly.
With fond regards.
Judith
Mark,
Here is the mail that came to #9. Thank you for meeting me and
letting me in. We enjoyed our stay. This is a great location
to be while in London. Perhaps one day we will return.

Dear Renata,
How grateful I am that you came to my rescue with an email message
for Bob concerning the loss of the VISA card. After a moment
of panic I realized we had an excellent resource available in
both Carol and you. The card was void immediately and no invalid
charges have come through. Daughter Judy and I had a great time
not only with our visit, but the apartment as well. We have
a stunning panoramic picture of the Marina taken from the balcony
and all who see it (plus other pictures of the apartment) are
duly impressed. Your smooth running organization is a real plus
for overseas travelers.Glad to see Dave waiting at Gatwick after
the long flight, and what a surprise, he is from Mundesley,
just as my next door neighbor is here in Nebraska. She couldn't
believe it, as he couldn't. 91 Burr Close was just what we were
looking for, and more.
DeAnn Rowe, Judy matthews
Dear Mark,
We
have had a marvellous fortnight! The centre of it all has been
our apartment and its location here at St Katherine's. Thank
you for all you do to make everything so welcoming. I shall
write to Renata when I return home. Thanks again!
David & Judith
Dear Renata,
Thank you and mark again for making my grandson and myself so
welcome and comfortable during our 10 days in June. Thank you
for letting us use the drying cupboard - it was a big help.
I hope to be returning again to my "home away from home".
Sincerely,
Gerry R. Drysdale (Mrs John J.)
Dear Renata,
Thank you for another delightful stay at 91 Burr Close. It has
truly become a home away from home. The new microwave and washing
machine worked beautifully, and I made good use of the sturdy
dining table in between meals, writing all my post cards and
Christmas cards. The views from the window were, of course,
superb. I am already hoping to visit in the fall of 2005. I
will let you know when I have dates in mind. Until then, heartfelt
thanks and very best wishes for 2004.
Sincerely,
Jeanie Sherwood
Good
Morning Renata,
Wendy and I have finally arrived back in NZ and I would like
to commend you for the excellent accommodation. the location
is excellent and I would certainly recommend Burr Close to any
other visitor from NZ. My initial problem was that I incorrectly
recorded the phone number for Mark and that gave me difficulties
in making direct connection with him. Apart from that we really
enjoyed our time in London.
Thanks again.
Robin
Dear Renata,
Thank you for providing such a delightful spot in London.
We all enjoyed the facilities greatly. We had plenty of room
and were very comfortable. Location was ideal and i think our
family has seen all the highlights of the town.
Is there a deposit refund on our contract? I did send the first
deposit by money order - the other by Visa. Thank you once again
for such a delightful holiday and I will recommend your apartments
to other friends.
Barb Logsdail
Dear Renata,
We would both like to express our sincere gratitude for allowing
us to use our postponed vacation week at 91 Burr Close. It was
so kind of you to give us credit for the time. We had a wonderful
time and the apartment was perfect. We have now stayed in both
91 and 97 and feel very much at home there.
We hope to visit again soon.

Thank
you for such a delightful immaculate place to stay during our
visit here. What an incredible view! It's all been wonderful!

Dear Ms Neufal
Thank you very much for cheque received today. We had a wonderful
week in London apart from the Thursday when we visited the zoo
the weather was really nice. The apartment was very nice and
your staff very helpful indeed, we hope to take a winter break
without the children.
Yours sincerely
R. Cottam
Hi renata,
Just wanted to get back to you to say thank you so much for
our lovely stay at the Marina. We had such a great time there,
and it was so brilliant to be able to have that late check out
on the last day, It made the trip home a little easier!!!
Please pass on our many, many thanks to Mark for all his help
and assistance with the units, he was so great. Many thanks
again, hopefully we will be back again one day!

Hi Renata,
My father and I had a wonderful stay at 97 Burr Close - November
8-15.2003. This being our second stay at your appartments was
even better than the first stay. The St Katherine's Docks area
has a lot to offer whether eating out or taking an evening stroll.
I always felt safe walking at night in the area. Tower Hill
Underground is just a 10 minutes walk away or you can easily
catch a cab in front of the Thistle Tower Hotel. The nearby
Safeway supermarket caters to the apartment living crowd and
is open late most days. We are planning our next London trip
for 2004 and will contact you.
Please extend my thank you's to Mark.
All the best,
David

Dear Ms Naufal,
I booked one of your flats in March 2003 and I was highly impressed
by the surroundings but also by the flat. We enjoyed our stay
very much. Therefore I have already plans about coming back
next year. It would also be in March and my question is what
would be the latest date for booking one of your bigger flats
(four people upwards). We are still looking for a fourth person
to join us and the holidays plans have to be settled at work
as well, which will hopefully cause no problems.
Will there be any changes in your prices? If there will be,
could you please tell me how much a flat for four will cost
in March 2004 just for a week.
Best Regards
Maren Brodersen - Berlin
Dear
Renata,
We got back home last night after our London & Paris trip
and have acute jet lag today! I wanted to thank you again for
asking Carol to pick up the flowers for us - it was so nice
of you (not necessary, but very much appreciated!). We really
enjoyed the apartment, it was well equipped with dishes, glasses,
etc. and we loved having the washer & dryer. When I mentioned
in the note I left you that we thought the walk to the Underground
(and bus) was a little far... we know it was not next door,
but we honestly didn't think it was that far. That was the only
problem we had with the apartment, otherwise the marina was
lovely (and so quiet!!!) and it was super having Safeway practically
next door (really nice shop too, I might add). I'd also like
to mention that Ray Skinner is a total delight. He and I had
something in common as it turns out too, he used to work for
British airways and I worked for McDonnell Douglas (who sold
planes to BA). All in all we thoroughly enjoyed Ray. The gentleman
that picked us up on the 10th was also very nice and we let
Ray know that too.
Carol is quite a character too, and definitely an asset to your
organization.... we a a couple of laughs with her on the first
day there when we got to entertain a plumber who came in to
fix the toilet shortly after we arrived. I also want to let
you know one more time how much I appreciated your efficiency
in answering my e-mail enquiry initially and all though the
process of renting the apartment for our vacations. We enjoyed
ourselves in london (as we always do) and we enjoyed the marina
as well.
Best Regards,
Lori & John Magloire
Dear Renata,
We stayed at 91 Burr Close from March 10 to March 16. What an
absolutely delightful apartment! It was spacious, immaculate,
so completely stocked, and had a spectacular view of Tower bridge
and the marina! The previous guests had even left fresh flowers!
Every aspect of our week in the apartment was just a treat!
Thank you for adding so much to our visit to London.
Christine and Rich Kerber
Dear Renata,
I
want to thank you for the discount on flat rental in January.
My friend, Ann, and I had a wonderful time and the flat was
great. Please feel free to give my name and email as a reference.
Hope you are well,
Caroline Burry
Dear Renata,
We have just arrived home after our stay in London at Burr Close.
The location is perfect. I cannot imagine staying in any other
area now. The marina is so secluded, it is like being in your
own private world away from all the hustle and bustle of london
which is available so close should you venture out! We loved
watching the swans and ducks especially the one sitting on its
nest by the Dickens Inn!
Car pick up from the airport went smoothly and even though more
expensive than we thought, I would definitely recommend it especially
for travellers coming in to Heathrow after a long flight. It
made all the difference and we got a nice tour through London
as well. The flat had everything we needed, we didn't even need
to bring over a hairdryer. The Safeway is so close that bringing
in groceries for breakfast and lunch was easy if we wanted to
eat in.
Only one thing I would suggest to make the flat even better
would be a couple of high stools/chairs at the dining room window
to enable guests to take advantage of the lovely view of the
marina!
Definitely will book with you for our next stay in london. As
a returning native Londoner I was surprised to find such good
value for money! Thank you again,
Mrs and Mr George Craig
Dear Ms. Naufal,
I wanted to thank you for making possible the wonderful
holiday we had in 58 Nightingale Court.
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The flat was
very comfortable and well appointed.
Mark was very helpful and we hope to visit again next year.
Sincerely,
Angela Myatt
Dear Renata,
Sorry this is so long in coming, but I wanted to let you know
how wonderful our stay in London was and how much we enjoyed
the apartment!
It was a perfect setup for us and we could not have been more
pleased. The apartment itself was great and the amenities allowed
us to be very comfortable. After a long day of sightseeing in
and out of London, it was nice to come "home" to our
little flat. The kitchen was wonderfully outfitted (although
the controls for the microwave were abit dodgy but we managed
fine) so we were able to cook most of our meals. Doing our laundry
was a big plus also. And not being on top of each other, as
we would have been in a hotel allowed us a much better rest
at night. And the location was superb! Very safe, convenient
to the tube, close to groceries. Even internet access in a little
shop nearby. And the marina locale was a bonus.
All in all, it really enhanced our London experience. We had
been there twice before, but this was by far the best of the
lot. We would stay there again in a minute. I only hope it is
still available the next time we get there. Thanks again!
Sincerely,
Ian Drummond
Dear Renata,
Just wanted you to know how wonderful your apartment was and
how much we appreciated being able to stay there. We had a fine
visit to London and got a lot in, but would love to return to
continue the adventure someday soon. Your location is tremendous
and the apartment was most comfortable and well-equipped. The
beds were wonderful, the kitchen great and the TV delivered
the gold medal men's olympic hockey game--perfectly! We hope
it was found in tip-top shape, just as we found it.
I will definitely spread the word to travelling friends here
in New England. There is nothing better than dealing with honest,
straightforward folks. THANKS A MILLION!
Cheers,
Ellen and Scott
