The sport of crown green bowling has been practised here at the rear of the Olton Tavern public house, for over 50 years. Surviving many changes of name and ownership, the bowling club has proved the one constant factor.
Olton Tavern participates in various midweek leagues from Monday to Friday, and fields two teams in the Warwick & Worcester League on Saturdays during the crown green season of April to September. In 2015 we have reached our highest ever league position with promotion to W&W league division 3. Although we try to take our bowling seriously, we are however a sociable club and enjoy a pint and a chat after the game.
