Year 6’s Favourite Places


In our playtimes and lunchtimes we sometimes play with the rest of the school but at other times we just like to play or chat with our best friends


My special place in the school is the ICT room because it is normally peaceful and quiet. At playtime hardly any one is in there.

 
 




My special place is on the steps behind playgroup. I like it there because we always sit and talk there. I also like it there because it is sheltered from the wind.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The parallel bars are our favourite place because it’s a good place to chat, hang up side down and do flips while watching the football.

 

 

 


My favourite place is under the tree by the nature area because its peaceful and a great place to talk to my friends

My special place is in the corner furthest away from the school.

I like this place because as you look down towards the school not one person is out of your sight. It is as if you are surveying a huge battle fought between young children. It feels like you are looking at the battle of Hastings.

This was history in the making except not one person apart from the goalkeepers on the football pitch get shot at!

I like the trees in the corner of the field because I used to always play there when I was in Yrs. 1 and 2 and I used to think of it as my very own secret base. I also like the trees in the corner of the field because I can stand there and look at everyone playing on the field.

 

I like the top playground because at lunchtimes we play cricket on there. This is really fun because all of the little children come and play and have a great time. I also really enjoy it because it is my favourite sport and I have fun playing it as well.

 

My favourite place is the bank because you can sit on it and it suddenly goes quiet.
You can hear the grasshoppers and the calming singing of the birds. It makes me feel
relaxed and special. That’s why the bank is my special place.

 

My favourite place is in the nature area because it’s nice and quiet and really cool and shady in the summer months. My friends and me also like to chat in there because its private and shut off from everyone else.

 I like the nature area because its cool in the summer, it’s nice and quiet and shut off from the field. Since the benches have been put in we spend quite a lot of time in there, especially in the summer months.

 

My special place is in the hall reading the diaries because on a cold day, it’s a nice place to talk forever and ever about how funny we look in the photos. It’s nice and quiet and even though I now know the diaries off by heart, I love to talk about other things there too. My special place is by the steps at the bottom playground in the corner. I like it there because it is peaceful and not many people go there at playtime. I also like going there when it is wet because it stops you from getting wet!

 

 

Football is my favourite sport this is why I love the football pitch. I am a striker and a free kick taker. I am good at crosses and whenever I have got a chance I shoot. The football pitch is the best place to be.   Football is my favourite sport that is why I love playing on the field so much. I play in midfield and love doing skill and smacking the ball into the back of the net . This is why the field is surely the best place in the school!!!!!!!!!!
I love football that’s why the football pitch is my favourite place. Even when its tipping down with rain we persuade Mrs Tamlyn to let us play football. Even when we don’t play we have a fun time using the pitch.   My special spot is the football because I love playing football. I love scoring goals and when I do the feeling is wicked. I love dribbling around players and ‘nutmegging’ people. I’m good at heading the ball from corners and striking.

 

My special place is the I.C.T. room, this is because it is a peaceful room where you can check the surf or swell when you feel down or want to be somewhere quiet.
