This is Georgeham

We are here!

Georgeham is in North Devon, very near the coast and some of the best beaches in England. Georgeham is a very small village, so lots of us come to school from other villages nearby, like Croyde and Darracott. Croyde is famous for SURF - it has some of the best surf in the country, along with Putsborough, which is also very near.

About half of us have lived in the area all our lives, but there are many people moving into the area all the time. This is because North Devon is GREAT, and Georgeham is the BEST. We all love living here because:

	it's a very friendly place
	there's lovely countryside and super beaches
	there's lots of things to do - surfing, body-boarding, riding
	there's no pollution
	everywhere is very close

but there are some things we don't like:

	tourists who don't know how to drive (we have very narrow roads)
	there's only one shop in Georgeham (but more in Croyde)
	the park is boring because there's not much play equipment
	there's too much dog and horse poo on the ground!
	there's no McDonalds

But overall we think it's a great place to be!
