This is where we put the stories which are set before the time of the films and series.  Here you'll find the stories where they were on the Argosy and the days they spent in the Academy.  We're still pulling this page together, so not all the links are currently active.  Please be patient and we'll soon have something to see in each room.

A word of warning about the Academy stories.  We started writing them before they brought out the Young Hercules series.  When that started, we tied ourselves in knots trying to work out how on earth Jason - who was old enough to marry Hercules' mother in the parent series - could possibly be the same age as them in the spin-off!  In the end we decided to ignore Jason (sorry, Jayce, but you get to play in the Argosy stories!) and just continue as we'd started.  Feel free to visualise the actors from the Young Hercules series as you read the stories - we can never make up our mind!

Some of you may recognise Angela or Linda's name from hard-copy zines which you have bought in the past.  Please note that no story which has appeared/will appear in a hard-copy zine will be reproduced on a webpage, and vice versa.  We don't think it's fair to duplicate our work like that.
