Halifax Software Limited was formed in 1996 by Richard Barrow. Richard is the Managing Director of the company and was previously an Associate Director with Amdahl DMR and General Manager, Business Information Systems, at the Halifax Building Society.

During his time with the Halifax Richard held directorships with BACS, LINK and EftPos UK. He was also a member of the APACS Council.

The company has a proven track record in Year 2000 compliance projects, having developed several conversion aids and subroutines.
