In some ways what Donald Schön referred to as a
repertoire is another way of describing the state of being knowledgeable.
Three particular areas seem to be of importance to local and informal
educators:
knowing ourselves
knowing about people
knowing about the rules and institutions within or
besides which we live our lives.
