drawing upon counselling skills 1
|
|
Informal educators are often encouraged to develop counselling skills.
Here we want to invite you look at some key areas of skill - but to do
so within the frame of reference of informal educators.
We are primarily concerned with the person you are when
engaging
in helping. Thus, when thinking about the use of counselling or any
other kind of skill, we ask you to explore how insights about one area
of practice can inform you in developing authentic responses to
situations.
