Technology continues to invde our lives, and we now have  an Internet
Facility and E Mail for those of a like mind, I am sure that soon we
shall be able to put all our spinners designs e.t.c. on the web, for
your reference, but I hope  the personal contact we have established
with so many of our customers can remain.

Patons           
Concentrating on the strength of their existing good yarns, Patons
are offering new designs in all weights with new seasons colours.
With the Autumn emphasis on Chenilles, Patons have re introduced their
Cotton Chenille D.K. in plain and spray dyed shades, with a set of
9  designs to accompany it.
Most welcome of all is a new Childrens Book, Endless Days. remarkably
good...there are 18  designs for ages 1  to 9, all in double knitting.
The general theme is Flowers and Teddies, including teddies to knit
and cuddle, pop in the pocket and even a Teddy Backpack to knit. So
before you go down to the woods today, begin to cast on for your own
Teddy!!!!!!.   
Wallace and Gromit ... how their popularity grows, the range now compirses
5 characters to knit and 12 sweater designs, all in double knitting,
choose your favoutrite from Wallace, Gromit, Shaun, Gwendolene, Preston
and Feathers McGraw. Don,t forget we have a range of yarn in 25gm
@55p , for your convenience when needing only small amounts per item.
Wendy Wools       
Always a regular seller and exceptional value, Wendy Merino D.K. pure
wool, has a matching soft feel Boucle to complement it in four new
shades, Camel, Buttermilk, Mulled Wine and Antique Plum.
We are able to offer again the 500gm Balls of Pure Wool Aran, in Cream
still at £8.99 a ball, and I am pleased to say they continue to make
a proper sock yarn in  wool/nylon.
We have a big  range of 100gm D.K. good English acrylic yarn at £1.25,per
100 gm , not the cheapest around, but in pour opinion, one of the
better ones. Plus, Ramley 400gm Aran acrylic with wool,
an excellent range of colours and superb value at £5.99 per 400gm.
Sirdar/Hayfield       
Under one ownership for many years the management has decided to completely
merge these two spinners and remove the previous duplication of lines,
we are now able to offer Hayfield yarns as well as Sirdar.
New for Autumn is a Chunky Denim, the D.K and Aran weight of this
mixture have proved very popular, new designs accompany this new yarn.
Ever popular Country Style has a new range of tweeds, soft and muted
colours, they knit to any D.K pattern, the entire range has over 50
colours in D.K. plus
28 shades in 4ply.
The best of the fancy yarns from this spinners is Matisse, a mixture
of Nylon and Wool , the finshed piece has almost a fabric feel, with
a tweedy-multi colour look. Our favourite design being an edge to
edge waistcoat, suitable for evening or day wear.
Remanisctent of the early eighties, Hayfield have DECO, a thick lumpy
yarn with knobs of colour,
ideal for outer garments, it is a wool, mohair and nylon mixture,
the colours being Odeon, Essoldo and Jazz.
Rowan
