Written by Paula Jones it features stories about the actress's family and their guardian angels. Patsy says in the article that she definately has a guardian angel, it's her nan (grandmother). She was my mother's mother and her name was Nora Palmer. In the photgraph, Patsy shows off her wedding band and explains that it was made from her nan's ring, melted down and re-designed so Patsy feels that her nan is with her all the time.
It was from Nora, pictured opposite with Patsy's mum, that Patsy inherited her trademark red hair and as Patsy was her only granddaughter, Nora doted on her until she died from cancer when Patsy was just 15. "We were very close" says Patsy "I stayed with her alot as a child- you do in the East End. She would have loved to have seen me in EastEnders and I like to feel that my success is something to do with her."

died, I had recurring dreams about her and they say that happens
when the person in the dream is trying to contact you to let
you know they're all right. I must think about my nan every
day and, if I don't something will happen to remind me of her. I
like to think that if something was ever to happen to me, I'd
be all right - that she'd be there to look after me."Despite
the success she enjoys, Patsy admits ther are times when she
craves anonymity and - after years in the spotlight- to live
an ordinary life. "My mum keeps saying to me:
"do you think you're going to just be able to go to Tesco
all day long?" But yes, Id like to do that for a bit".
