Ever seen the US sitcom Cheers? Marveled at the funny things Norm Peterson says when he enters the bar, but you forget them by the next day?

Here's a program to display Norm's words of wisdom. Each time it is executed, a new quote is shown. You can ask for another quote, or if nothing is selected within 20 secs, the program closes down.

A bar at the bottom of the screen indicates how much time remains before shutdown. Because of the auto-close, why not run it from your windows start-up group? It makes sessions a lot friendlier!

If you have a soundcard, you'll hear the gang at cheers call their usual 'Norm' greeting whenever the big man comes into the bar.

The zip is small. Unzip the file either:

• Unzip to a directory 'c:\cheers' (it must be this directory!!)
  OR
• Unzip to 'c:\' with 'create sub folders' enabled.

The application needs the files vbrun300.dll ,  gauge.vbx and mci.vbx, unzipped and placed in'\windows\system' directory in order to run.
