Pretentious shopping centre names...

As I visit cities around the country, I have been increasingly depressed by seeing the same old shops over and over again - just in a different order. To try to give such blandness character is impossible.

Unfortunately, that does not stop the shopping mall designer, and, since the name is about the only thing which does differentiate one mall from another, the designers are falling over themselves trying to come up with the most outrageous names for their own effort, (with hilarious results).

THE TOP 3 MOST LAUGHABLE SHOPPING CENTRE NAMES:

1) "The High Chelmer" Chelmsford, Essex, UK.

2) "The Maltings" York, Yorkshire, UK.

3) "The Royals" Brighton, Sussex, UK.

It's futile but still they compete. So, you might as well laugh since the alternative is to weep!

There is a little shop near my house... it has such stupid name!
Yeah, it's not a big store.. I just want you to know:
there are no place, where there is no any stupid thing... ;-)))

Maybe the world is the better for silly shop names...
