The euro could bring significant benefits, but any final decision should be left to the Welsh Assembly.

 

Defence

The party supports the growth of common European foreign and security policies.

 

Reform of the EU

Majority voting should be extended; the strengthening of the European Parliament is welcomed.

 

The Budget

There should be a smaller British rebate to encourage investment to come to regions such as Wales. Funding should go direct to the National Assembly.

 

Home Affairs

A fair asylum process should be a responsibility of the EU.

 

Enlargement

Enlargement promotes peace, stability and economic progress.

 

Fraud

Combatting fraud is a key target of the party. The gravy-train cannot be allowed to continue and undermine the credibility of the EU.
