The Single Currency

Early entry into the euro is favoured. The Government shall be pushed hard to achieve this aim.

There should be a European pillar within NATO, since the US cannot always be relied upon.

Within bounds, enlargement, deregulation, labour market flexibility, efficient administration and more parliamentary accountability are all aims.

There should be no increase in the EU Budget, since operating within existing limits will force the EU to be more resourceful and reformative.

Greater legal integration would be beneficial.

Enlargement is a top priority.

The administration of the EU should be overhauled to ensure early detection and punishment of fraud.
