You know when Ian Paisley is talking. In fact, you probably know 10 miles away when Ian Paisley is talking. This man shouts at the microphone like no other.
Quite aside from this, he is one of the most obstinate people I have ever seen. At a time when, in Northern Ireland, the peace process finally appears to be going somewhere in a spirit of cooperation, Paisley just seems to be stuck in the past in not endorsing any part of the plan currently on the table.
It seems to me that he has to get his act together and recognise some concessions to Sinn Fein, and work with them for peace - otherwise he risks being sidelined, or worse, bringing the whole process to a grinding halt.
