John Prescott

Constituency Kingston-upon-Hull East
Party Labour
Position Deputy Prime Minister
Year of First Entry into Parliament 1970

In theory, John Prescott should be a great asset to the Labour party - a real 'grass roots' politician, in touch with the people.

Sadly, he doesn't quite measure up to the Deputy Prime Minister's job. Whenever we see him, he is either spouting such that we could believe it was Tony Blair himself, or he's committing some absolutely horrendous gaffes, such that you want to rip off your arm just for something to throw at him.(Thanks 'Friends').

For me, he holds no credibility whatsoever.
