The overenthusiastic sub

My initial thoughts:
Stop the game! Red card for the offending sub (denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity.) Re-start the game with a direct free-kick (or penalty if the ball was in the box.)

A little twist! What would you do if, instead of the sub running on & clearing the ball, it was the (non playing) coach or trainer who 'did the deed?' Now thats a whole different ball game! - Your thoughts please.

Penalty!

No Goal!
Do not allow the goal and order the penalty to be re-taken.
The penalty is not adjudged to have been taken, and the ball not in play, until it has been kicked and moves forward. In other words the ball must go forward from a penakty kick.
There is scope to yellow card the penalty taker for wasting time - but I leave that upto you as the referee!

Shake on it

Do nothing!
There is no requirement for opposing captains to shake hands!
Now if they refused to shake your hand as the referee... well that could be 'showing dissent by word or action' and warrant a yellow card!

Think you could do better?
