Peter was born in North West London in 1936. He attended Orange Hill County Grammar School and on leaving school served two years in the RAF as a radar mechanic. It was after completion of his National Service that he 'took up' painting as a hobby. Gradually painting became his life and after years of teaching himself the craft of painting he eventually became a professional artist. Peter has now developed his own unique mixed media technique which enables him to capture wildlife in a most stunning and dramatic manner. The animals he depicts with such affection live and breathe in an atmosphere one can readily feel. A successful exhibition in New York in 1993 and recent sales through Christies of London have gained him international recognition an he is now rated amongst the world top wildlife artists.

Peter was selected for membership of the British Society of Painters in 1990 and the Fine Art Trade Guild in 1992. A more recent accolade has been the selection to Fellow of The Society of Artists.

The United Emirate Airlines have published two of Peters paintings for presentation to their top customers around the world. These prints are not available for purchase.

Two limited edition prints and sets of greetings cards are available - see front page.

Peter stages a one man exhibition at the PictureCraft Gallery in Holt, Norfolk every two years. The next scheduled exhibition will be in September 1999.
