Live Journal - This is where I pretend to be like 99% of all internet users by having my very own achingly dull personal diary.
Myspace.com - The official James W. Foster Myspace page.
Myspace.com - The official Cult of The Artist Myspace page.
BomoCreatives - Artist networking group for Bournemouth and the surrounding area.
Alternative Swansea - Home of the Altswan forums where I've generally ranted about nothing for many years.
I'm also set up as a celebrity/public figure on Facebook so if 1) you're on Facebook and 2) you're very sad you can become one of my fans!
International Miniart Exchange:
International Mini-Art Exchange - Originally a joint project between members of the Artlives international discussion group and the Chico Lisboa Artists' Association of Rio Grande Do Sul, Brazil.
7th IME Argentina Blog - Blog by Raul Albanece on the 2008 IME tour of Argentina. Unfortunately it's all in Spanish at the moment but I have been promised an English translation will appear soon.
Other art sites:
Eclectic Fusion - Online Gallery devoted to promoting up & coming artists and musicians.
Exposure Gallery, Swansea - Fantastic gallery that used to be located in Swansea's city centre (College St), run by the Swansea Guild of Artists. Has since been replaced by the SGA's latest incarnation - Elysium Gallery.
Banksy - I think it's physically impossible to do the kind of work I do today without viewing the guy as a God On Earth. The dude rules!
Coldcut - Dance music act and VJ pioneers as well as creators of the 'VJamm' software. Big influence on my video stuff. I will never be as good as them, no matter how much I want to be.
Milkkitten - Probably my second biggest influence in recent years, after Primal Scream. Looks like they've finally re-done the website as well.
Julian Opie - Possibly my favourite portrait artist from the past 25 years.
Jane Prophet - Creator of the 'Technosphere' projects a few years back.
Alison A. Raimes - London-based painter & Founder of the now-defunct Artlives discussion group and an encouraging influence on me back in my bad old student days.
Keira Rathbone - Produces drawings entirely on a typewriter. Pretty darn cool if you ask me.
Bruce Risdon - Fellow SIHE graduate and former DJing partner in crime.
Lethargy - Soulful hard rock from Neath. Played Cruel Samoan Night a few years ago and have stomped all over Swansea and the rest of South Wales mercilesly ever since.
Licking Chocolate Jesus - Described by themselves as
"An out of tune noisy pounding mess" Mindless no-holds-barred rock & roll excess to the maximum and beyond.
Loafer - Citing bigotry, beastiality and Batman as major influences, Loafer rock harder than any other band to have come from Wotton-under-Edge. Fact!
The October Country - These guys are absolutely electric to watch. Not sure how to describe them really but worth seeing if you get the chance.
Satori - The greatest experimental jazz/blues/funk fusion band from Swansea in the world! (Updated link)
Suns Of Thunder - I've changed the link to go to thier Myspace instead because it's more up-to-date.
Taint - One of the best UK rock bands in the last ten years. Buy their albums! NOW!!!
Vinyl Stickons - Described by their Myspace profile as "Preppy scum-rock for poor people. " Pretty fun tunes with attitude. Now no longer with us but the music lives on.
