FERRARI LAND ON MARS!

- B'stardos lands SAFELY!

- Prancing horse flag flies on MARTIAN SOIL!

- Questions asked about SAFE RETURN?

The World held its breath yet again today, as Hero pilot Magny B'stardos began his landing on the Martian surface. "Complete Success" was the instant response from Maranello, as incredible images from the space telescope began to filter back to Earth!

Captain B'stardos landed safely on Mars, after a gruelling, lonely journey through space. He reported back that the Ferrari was fine, although he did complain of lack of grip upon landing.

TIFOSI GO WILD AT MONZA!

An enormous crowd had gathered at Monza in Italy, to witness the historic moment. As the images slowly filtered back to Earth, the crowd roared its approval as it became clear that Ferrari had indeed won the opening round of the space race!

Speculation was rife, concerning the next stage of the space race - latest reports suggest that the rumoured Venus missions have been scrapped, in place of a far greater challenge - to land on ALL FOUR of Jupiter's Moons!!!!

If these rumours are to be believed, it will mark the start of an unbelievable race for the teams concerned - Lotus, Eagle, Ferrari and Honda have all been testing in secrecy for these past three months. One spokesperson for Lotus said: "After Ferrari's success on Mars, the only way we can go one better is to go FURTHER into space, and land on MORE foreign bodies."

SUCCESS FOR B'STARDOS... BUT AT WHAT PRICE?

Amid the loud celebrations at Maranello, a few scientists were beginning to express concern over the safe return of Magny B'stardos.

Despite the fuel and repairs his Ferrari received from heroic pilot Tim Wheatley on the surface of the Moon, there remains the possibility that both oxygen and fuel could run dry before he reaches Earth. Plans are already underway for a "Splash and dash in Space" that could save the heroic pilot's life! Many drivers, including Captain Wheatley, have stepped forward and volunteered for the task.

One Ferrari spokesperson said: "We miscalculated the amount of fuel it would take to launch from the Martian surface. If our figures are correct... we could have a problem."

DID B'STARDOS SEE "FACE ON MARS?"

An unknown source has leaked this shocking news to the media: Apparently, during his descent toward the Martian surface, B'stardos excitedly reported back that he had just flown over the famous "Cydonian Head" that is rumoured to be visible on the surface. When questioned about this, a Ferrari representative said "no comment". Watch this space...
