AMAZING MOON RESCUE!

- B'stardos found ALIVE on Moon surface!

- Hero pilot Wheatley gives up own chance of GLORY!

- Mars Mission WILL continue!

The World held its breath for a full day this week, expecting the worst... yet heroic Eagle pilot Tim Wheatley sent back the incredible news - Magny B'stardos was ALIVE, and his Ferrari had survived the emergency Moon landing INTACT!

Captain Wheatley landed safely at the Ferrari crash site, and immediately reported that the stricken Ferrari pilot was alive and well, and that moral was high! The two apparently then had a cup of tea, while enjoying the spectacular view of Earth, before beginning repairs to the Ferrari! Captain Wheatley, a respected driver and mechanic, had no problems repairing the Ferrari's fuel leak and electrical faults. Then, in an amazing display of sportsmanship, Wheatley offered most of his remaining fuel and oxygen to B'stardos - allowing him to continue on his amazing mission!

INCREDIBLE JOURNEY CONTINUES!

This amazing shot from the Ferrari's on-board cameras shows B'stardos resuming his incredible journey into the unknown - from here on, he will be truly ALONE in his mission to Mars. Should he suffer any further problems, he will be beyond the reach of any helping hand.

Little radio contact was possible during the amazing rescue, due to weather conditions here on Earth. However, it is understood that B'stardos' radio has also been repaired, and that we will receive word from him as soon as a clear signal is possible.

HERO'S RETURN

Hero pilot Tim Wheatley will return to Earth in three days time, having displayed incredible courage and sportsmanship. It is understood that the Eagle team were entirely behind his selfless decision to help the stricken Ferrari of Magny B'stardos. Whether or not his brave deed will land him a seat in the rumoured Venus Missions remains to be seen.

"MADNESS" CONTINUES BACK ON EARTH

Despite the recent Drama surrounding the Ferrari Mars Mission, many teams back on Earth continue to make launch attempts, many with tragic results.

SURVIVED

Eagle pilot Kurtis Miller survived this failed launch attempt in Phoenix, USA last week. Both he and Captain Wheatley are aiming to secure a seat in the rumoured Venus Mission attempt.

SURVIVED

Heroic pilot Ian Wright recently recovered from leg injuries sustained in the horrific Eagle Spa launch accident, and has joined the new Lotus Flight Team. After electrical problems during a recent test at Monza, he managed a perfect emergency landing.

KILLED

Tragedy struck the first test of the new Lotus Flight Mission last month at Brands Hatch. The team fired up the Lotus engine for the first time, with one of the mechanics sat in the cockpit - there was a huge explosion, which sent the Lotus flying out of the garage and barrel-rolling down Paddock Hill Bend. The unlucky mechanic died instantly.

SURVIVED

Ferrari pilot Jimmi Bo was photographed during a secret test session at Spa last week. It appears he suffered engine faliure during the secret test, but landed safely. Many believe this test could be part of a Ferrari Venus Mission program.

This spectacular view is from the cockpit of Captain Andy Middleton's Lotus, as he comes in to set down on the brand new landing-strip at the Lotus Launch facility at the Nurburgring, Germany. Lotus are said to have an enourmous budget for their Launch program, and are aiming to make up lost ground on the other teams.

OFFICIAL REPORT FROM MARANELLO

Sir,

The truth is that this disaster could have been avoided.

You may have noticed that we tried to get #16 into it's intermediate lunar orbit on Wednesday, August 11 at 12.32 MST, (Maranello Summer Time). This coincided with the centennial eclipse of moon and sun in exactly that moment of firing the engine again in our attempt to enter the lunar orbit.

Looking back to earth, when positioning his antenna to Fiorano, Commander B'stards was shocked to see his launch site disappear in the dark. The correct flight path was missed. "Fiorano, we have a problem" was recorded. Magny B'Stards however, in his heroic attempt to make an emergency landing on the moon's surface, was still able to communicate with FFC (Fiorano Flight Control) about the sun being still there, although behind the moon. This press release is made in order to verify the situation after rumors spread about Ferrari #16 being hit by something from outer space.
