SOMEONE WAS IN THE APARTMENT -

For a desperate moment, she prayed it was Hank.
Then she heard the footsteps, methodical and direct - the footsteps of the man who had followed her in the dark street. He came straight for the kitchen, as if he knew she was cowering there.
