As a novel about personal relationships, this one differs from the ordinary in that it concerns a homosexual 'marriage'.

When Ray, the narrator, and Cor meet in a bar, the attraction between them is at first purely physical. But with every increase in their knowledge of each other, their relationship grows more permanent, despite the efforts of Hamilton, an ex-lover of Cor's, to exert the pressures of blackmail. Then, having failed with Cor, Hamilton turns on Ray, using more despicable methods.

No End to the Way is a novel of unusual interest. It portrays with complete honesty the homosexual way of life and explores frankly the society in which they move.
