These ridiculously amateur recordings are pretty much all that remains of the band I played with in the late 1980s.

Various Rehearsal Tracks
The first 4 tracks were done on a 4-track, while the last was recorded live. All done in my bedroom. On the first 4 tracks the personnel are ANDREW FITZPATRICK: Vocals, rhythm guitar; PAUL FAIRCLOUGH: Bass; and JIM BARKER (me): Lead guitar, "drums" (mainly cardboard boxes) - On the rehearsal track Paul took over guitar, I took over bass, and LEE MARTIN joined us on (proper) drums. We played 3 gigs, and had 3 names (The Shankleys, The Go-Karts & Slippery Staircase)... I can't remember exactly when these were recorded, but some time in 1986 or 87 seems about right. It was all a lot of fun... There's a proper studio demo somewhere...
