The Tomschoice herd was started in 1996 with the purchase of one in calf cow, Stoneleigh Ginger, with heifer calf at foot. Ginger still carries a large influence within the herd with daughters, grand-daughters and great grand-daughters retained. Her sister, Stoneleigh Hopscotch, was subsequently purchased and is dam to Tomschoice Ochre who has been our most consistent breeder to date. Ochre is dam to Tomschoice Tom, sold at Carlisle October 2003 for £9500gns, Tomschoice Usurper sold at Carlisle October 2004 for £7000gns and Tomschoice Ultima (an embryo heifer) sold at the ILC Elite sale for £4200gns. Her other daughter, Tomschoice Sarah, full sister to Ultima is retained.

Ochre is a very shapely cow and carries great thickness through the loin. She has been ranked in the top 10 of Signets Top 100 cows for the last 2 years

	Tomschoice Ouch Sire: Harley Dam: Ovington Judith Ouch is a long cow with great width over her hips. She is dam to Tomschoice Salem; Junior Interbreed Champion RASE 2002.
Lynderg Matilda Sire: Hugo Dam: Hallingbury Hannah Matilda is a big showy cow, she has been ranked in the top 10 of Signets top 100 cows for the last 3 years.
