(Jan 01) Called into action after Sully's sending off against Newcastle and performed better than usual keeping two clean sheets against
Southamption and West Ham. He again showed understandable annoyance at being dropped, but Graham did the right thing in recalling
Sully. I just hope Walker stays and that we have two decent keepers, although I think he'll be off in the summer.
(Nov 00)Walker has decided to come off the list and fight for his place, whatever that means. Good luck to him,
its better to have him than not have him
(Sept 00)Walker has been granted a transfer after being axed as number 1 by the goons with the arrival of Sullivan. This is the same Ian
Walker who signed a 5 year deal earlier in the year and was not dropped last season despite some less than brilliant performances. It
also makes a mockery of the "competition for all places" reason for bringing in Sullivan and the sale of Baardsen. It'll be interesting to
see if anyone actually wants him and how much we get for him.
(June 00)Second rate keeper who makes far to many errors. Needs to be given the elbow before we can move on. Under Graham the team
defend much better as a unit and consequently leave much less for the keeper to do and Walker has been flattered by this.
