(Jan 01) The removal of Sugar seems to have given everyone renewed hope of keeping Sol, but it still depends on building a good side
around him - which there has been little evidence of so far
(Nov 00) Sol has given his clearest indication that he is off at the end of the season unless we look like we can compete in the
champions league. His commitment remains undiminished with his early return against Leicester and is a real hero
(Oct 00) Sol is currently out with a dislocated shoulder and with mad man Vega in his place we have looked wobbly at best in his
absence. As with Taricco, come back soon.
(Sept 00)The great man. The best Centre Half in the Premiership has had to play with a team that was less than his equal for many season
and the desire to win something will surely take its toll and the great man will be off. A great player and a great loss when he goes, but
he'll always get a warm welcome on his returns (as long as he does n't go to Scumbury)
