| (Feb 01) Still
poor, Still pointing instead of playing. Why do we not accept Blackburn's
offer for him? |
|
|
|
|
| (Dec 00) Sherwood's performances have declined to such a
degree that he was dropped for the Southampton match - lotsa arm waving |
| and
pointing - but not much in the way of decent midfield play. Plays hospital
balls to team mates when he's not just kicking it to the |
| opposition. Is
he still struggling with an injury? |
|

|
|
| (Nov 00) Has had a better month playing in an advanced
midfield role and scored a couple of goals, but still looks short of his best |
| (Oct 00) Has played very poorly in the majority of matches
this season and it has to be asked if he is over his injury that restricted
his |
| play last season. A return to form was hinted at during
the game at Leeds and this would be very useful to our progress this season. |
| (Sept
00)Sherwood has done well since his move from Blackburn, with several
important goals. Along with Freund, adds a competative |
| edge to the midfield that has been lacking in recent
years. Also has a very dodgy 'barnet', which puts him up there with Mad Mitch, |
| Waddle and
Gazza at their prime. |
