pick the guys up - have a good run up with a few hold ups this year.
get the tent up in the drizzle in more or less the same place as last year.
queue for wristbands as the skies open - luckily black bin bags on hand for makeshift cagouiles.
usual set up - funfair, beer tokens, aimless wandering around the stalls and amusements, bump into steve and the gang, etc.
tonight's film offerings are best in show and sexy beast.
alas it's the first night so cannot sleep

saturday - 21st
10:30 - we head off to the arena for breakfast, clean toilets and get buzzed by the red arrows (they must be following me!). then it's back to the tent for cards
12:30 - nme stage - kasabian - lsf (thanks for buying) / 55 (dedeciated to the zutons) / club foot

absolutely shattered - slept like a log.

sunday - 22nd
10:30 - the queues are big today - arena - bog & breakfast no sign of anything red in the sky
12:00 - the queue is gigantic - there is nothing on yet so back to the tent for yet more cards
in the background - big broz - taking over the show / divine comedy - no one knows (already seen at glastonbury)
14:00 - v stage - athlete - westside / el salvador / vehicles + animals / wires / (new song) modern mafia
