18:30 - eventually in (7½ hours!!!) - camp in gold field near to car park - after long trip could not be bothered moving too far
20:00 - arena - get wristbands / meet with lex & cousin paula, rob, james / get tokens for drink / funfair go on the superstars ride with its 540° rotation
00:15 - jjb/puma arena - hot fuzz zzzzz - it is traditional at v to fall asleep in the middle of the film
