Humanists groups are distributed thoughout the United Kingdom and mostly
and affiliated to the British Humanist Association and the National Secular Society
with links to the global community of humanists. The membership includes officiants who are
trained and accredited to conduct "life"ceremonies such as celebration of marriage,
the naming of children and funerals.
