ISLE OF PURBECK

For my work's "awayday" in February 2008, my branch went to a hotel in Bournemouth. So far, so boring. But the following day, as recompense for the meetings we had to endure, we hired a minibus to take the ten of us across to the Isle of Purbeck -- first to visit Corfe Castle, then to ride the Swanage Railway (a private, volunteer-run, steam train service) down to Swanage itself for a fish luncheon before returning to London. These pages record some of what we saw.
