  266 pp, 182 illustrations, in colour and black & white original line drawings.

  There are 20 known print variations, and 1 which has a laminated covering.

  There also 5 different dustjacket fronts, and the laminated front has only 1 type.

In 1959 the word British was removed from the title.

            It was in print for 30 years, with approximately 200,000 copies sold.
