A cameraman and a reporter head into the jungle searching for the missing son of a tv producer hoping to find a big story .What they get caught up in is a drugs war which threatens to take thier own lives.
Having seen this on tv as "Cut and Run" and enjoying it I was surprised to read of a strong uncut version doing the rounds,the version I saw was not noticably cut anywhere that I could see.There is a good reason for this , there are two completly different edits of the film so it could be sold easier in different regions, this version is the little seen completely uncut "Amazonia" which packs in some brutal scenes of butchery, gore and nudity. The opening five minutes tells you this is a very different edit with a nasty double beheading of naked women. The rest of the film continues this tone with some great gore scenes including a man being ripped in half after being tied to two trees pulling in different directions.Search this one out and you wont be disappointed.
