This continues the money making Franchise which is "Chucky" and while it's no great horror film by any stretch of the imagination it's not a complete flop either. It has it's moments and the set pieces are effective enough. It's basic, formula horror aimed at a certain audience. Anyone expecting otherwise should look elsewhere .The thing this film has in it's favor is the quality of the overall package . This DVD has one of the most amazingly sharp transfers I have yet seen and really shows the potential of the format .Sound is equally impressive even on my meager speaker system. The list of extras on offer is also one of the best available and is a clear indicator of the advantages of the format. This film will probably sell many copies on the strength of the uproar over Childsplay 2 and it's eventual removal from sale in the UK. Banning Adult films because Minors have Supposedly re enacted scenes from the film certainly leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I seriously doubt the story is anything more than a fabrication by a certain Tabloid Newspaper which shall remain nameless. Anyone expecting anything overly graphic from this series of films will be sorely disappointed .
