Ok I admit it's not strictly a zombie movie, but with a bunch of undead types running around butchering people it still fits the bill nicely.

A group of people receive free tickets to the opening night at a new cinema, after we are introduced to all the main characters arriving we see the start of the film, it just happens to be a horror film. Soon things start to go wrong and events in the film start happening to people in the cinema. Pretty soon the shit hits the fan and Demons are on the rampage killing anyone getting in the way, panic stricken the remaining crowd run for the exits only to find them all bricked up, weird!! Anyone wounded by the demons is infected and soon turns into one of the monsters. The survivors must find a way to escape the cinema or die trying.

This is one cool film, high on energy and gore and with a 80's rock soundtrack which fits the action, if you like that sort of thing. Surprisingly this film has been heavily criticized by many who think the film is pure shit!! Believe me , if you like any of the films I'm recommending on this site then you must see this film. Even the UK version is cool with plenty of gore scenes intact, and all the action. Special mention must to to the FX work of Sergio Stivaletti who made a big name for himself because of the awesome effects in this film, for this type of film and the budget you wont see much better. The DVD is of a high standard with good extras and Dolby Digital surround 5.1 sound. The picture is also nice without being outstanding. Certainly far better than I've seen before. This is a must have film .
