One of the most notorious group of films, the Guinea pig series have been accused of being snuff films in the USA and have been investigated by the F.B.I. and found to be totally innocent. This is obvious to anyone with a brain who watches this picture.Yes, the effects are very good ,infact some of the best you'll see, but still obviously faked as the filming techniqes used would require multiple cameras to film the different angles the film alternates between. Also there happens to be a "Making Of" feature on a later film showing how the effects were done. This is just a hard core horror film, nothing more sinister than that. The fact that it comes from one of the least violent modern cultures must tell the censors something (Banning or cutting every film going isn't going to cut crime or save our fragile minds) it only makes people want to see it more.
Anyway enough of my ranting, whats the film actually about.
A Japanese nutter dressed in a Samurai hat abducts a girl and takes her back to his place where he ties her to a bed. After some minor stabbing he drugs her.He then proceeds to dismember her in gruesome detail, hands, arms, feet and legs are all removed. If that's not bad enough he then slits her open and pulls out her entrails, cuts off her head, spoons out one of her eyeballs and sucks on it. Unbelievable stuff indeed. After all this you see the rest of his home which is full of human remains with maggots crawling everywhere.
This takes the gore film to it's present limits, and shows how the japanese like to spend a cosy night in. Dont expect to see this one at Blockbuster any time soon.
