One of Fulci's most notorious movies, this unlike some of his other efforts doesn't shy away from the sex content, which was absent from his other gore fests, this one revels in it with live sex shows, prostitution and bondage. The direction is as strong as ever and the scenes of violence are some of the most brutal ever seen. The gore scenes will shock all but the hard core horror fans and certainly cement "Fulci" as the ultimate gore film director, with some of the cruelest killings ever( razorblade through the eye and nipple anyone?)
