One of the most brutal and sadistic films ever made which tells the story of the torture and and rape carried out in Italy toward the end of the second world war.Teenagers are picked by Mussolini's facists and are taken to a villa not knowing thier horrible fate. They are sexually abused and degraded and finally tortured and killed .A trully shocking film even by the strongest standards.
One thing that stands out about this film for me is that although every conceivable horror is handed out on the teenagers , none of it apart from the final torture scenes are explicit. There is no hard core sex, it is just shown so brutally that it looks worse than it really is.The end on the other hand is hard to stomach after watching the rest of the film, as the innocents are burned with red hot pokers, have thier eyes gouged out and are scalped.This is one of the true nasties which will be unwatchable to most.
