Brief details of my areas of interest within each county are on this page. Details for all surnames of interest are on the county pages.

BUNGARD ONS STARKINGS ONS VALDER ONS

Sussex

About half my ancestors lived here. Most were in the middle of West Sussex, others were in Mid Sussex and the south-west of East Sussex. Coldwaltham in West Sussex is my main ancestral village so please E-mail me if you have any interests there.
I participate in a one-name study of BUNGARD, most of whom arrived in Sussex from northern France in the 17th century.

Norfolk

My paternal grandmother was born in Ormesby St Margaret. All of her ancestors so far discovered came from the immediate area. Martham in eastern Norfolk is my main ancestral village, please E-mail me if you have any interests there.
I participate in a one-name study of STARKINGS, most of whom probably originate in this area of Norfolk.

Kent

A maternal great-grandfather was born in Folkestone. All of his ancestors so far discovered came from southern Kent, especially Sandwich, Mersham and Lyminge. Please E-mail me if you have any interests at Lyminge, I have fiche copies of the parish registers.
I participate in a one-name study of VALDER; all the 19th century Valders in the UK had ancestors from Sandwich. The name first appears there in the late 17th century, they probably arrived in Kent from mainland Europe.

Buckinghamshire

A paternal great-great-grandfather came to Sussex from Great Missenden. His ancestors mostly came from there and the villages of The Lee and Waddesdon.
